Your inspection is carried out by a fully licensed timber pest inspector with 35+ years of combined industry experience across the Jets team. You get a specialist who knows what to look for — not a generalist ticking boxes.
Award-Winning — Recognised Locally and Nationally
2024 Ipswich Small Business of the Year and 2026 AEPMA Pest Manager of the Year Finalist. These aren't self-awarded badges — they're independent recognition that we do this job at the highest standard.
Fixed-Price Quote — You Pay Exactly That
You receive a fixed-price quote before we begin. The price you're quoted is the price you pay.
Detailed Report Delivered Within 24 Hours
After every inspection, you receive a comprehensive digital report to your inbox within 24 hours. It covers findings, risk areas, and recommendations — everything you need to make an informed decision about protecting your home.
Advanced Detection Tools — Used Where Visual Evidence Warrants It
Our inspections are fundamentally visual assessments. Where visual evidence suggests possible concealed activity, we have FLIR Thermal Imaging and Termatrac Radar Technology available to investigate further and help confirm findings — not as routine detection tools, but as targeted support when the evidence calls for it.
What Ipswich Homeowners Are Saying
We had found termites in our home and found it a very stressful experience until I called Jets. He came to us straight away, our house was baited the next day, and two months later we have no termites and our house is fully protected. We can breathe easy now.
Shaun and Jason were both extremely helpful. Their professionalism, knowledge and guidance were second to none. They took the time to explain everything clearly and ensured the work was done thoroughly and efficiently. Highly recommend.
The guys from Jets were so helpful, knowledgeable, old-school customer service, prompt service and fair pricing.
I am beyond impressed with the service and workmanship of Jets Pest Control. Jason was more than thorough. Their knowledge and attention to detail is far superior to anything I have seen.
You won't find anyone more knowledgeable or genuine when it comes to taking care of your pest control needs.

Termite Inspection Ipswich FAQs
1. What standard do your termite inspections follow?
All of our termite inspections are conducted in accordance with Australian Standard AS 3660.2. This ensures a consistent, high-quality inspection process that meets industry best practices.
2. What areas of the property are inspected?
We carry out a visual inspection of accessible areas, which may include:
Interior walls, skirtings and architraves
Roof void (if safely accessible)
Subfloor (if applicable and accessible)
External perimeter and retaining walls
Timber fences, garden beds, trees, and outbuildings
3. Do you use any special tools during the inspection?
Yes. We may use a Tramex moisture meter, Termatrac radar sensor, and FLIR thermal imaging camera to assist in detecting potential termite activity, where appropriate.
4. How long does the inspection take?
Inspection times vary depending on the size and layout of the property — Apartments: 30–45 minutes, Houses: 1.25 to 2.5+ hours. Your inspector will work methodically through accessible areas, and you’re welcome to be present throughout. Full durations are listed in our pricing table above.
5. Will I receive a written report?
Yes. We provide a detailed digital report that complies with AS 3660.2. It includes findings, recommendations, risk areas, and photographs where relevant. Reports are typically emailed to you within 24 hours of the inspection.
6. How often should I have a termite inspection?
The Australian Standard recommends inspections at least once every 12 months. In high-risk areas — including many Ipswich suburbs where timber-framed homes are common and conditions favour termite activity — annual inspections are strongly advised. Where previous activity has been found, more frequent inspections may be recommended.
7. Is this a treatment service?
No. A termite inspection is not a treatment. It is a diagnostic service designed to assess for current or past termite activity and potential risks. If termites or conducive conditions are found, we will provide a treatment recommendation.
8. Do you offer discounts?
Yes. We offer a 10% discount for Seniors, Pensioners, and Defence Force Members.
9. Is this available in both Ipswich and Brisbane?
Yes. We provide termite inspections across Ipswich, Brisbane, and surrounding suburbs.
10. What happens if termites are found during the inspection?
If active termite activity or damage is identified, your inspector will document the findings in your report and discuss next steps with you on the day. We can provide a separate quote for termite treatment or barrier installation. Finding termites early is the best possible outcome — early detection significantly reduces treatment costs and structural damage.
