Shaun Michels
Pest Management Technician & Timber Pest Inspector
With over 30 years of experience, Shaun brings a wealth of knowledge across pest control, termite management, sports turf management, food-grade manufacturing, logistics, supply chain management, quality assurance, and food safety. His broad career background gives him a unique perspective on pest management and client service.
Shaun is passionate about the pest control industry and is committed to delivering the best outcomes for his clients in the safest way possible. He applies integrated pest management techniques and prioritises eco-friendly solutions wherever possible.
Areas of Interest: Residential pest control and termite management, HACCP and food safety compliance, quality assurance, pest management in the food industry and childcare.
Outside of work, Shaun enjoys travelling and spending quality time with his wife, Tina and their two sons, Harrison and Daniel.
Jason Forman
Pest Management Technician & Timber Pest Inspector
Jason has over 25 years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial and industrial pest control, specialising in termite management. His passion for the industry extends into entomology, where he maintains an extensive insect collection that reflects his deep curiosity and expertise.
Dedicated to providing clients with reliable and effective pest management, Jason combines practical knowledge with genuine enthusiasm for the science behind the work.
Areas of Interest: Residential pest control and termite management, commercial pest control, industrial pest control, and entomology.
When he’s not working, Jason enjoys time outdoors and at home with his wife and children. He is also passionate about fitness and trains regularly in Muay Thai.

In Memory of Rod Lewis (1954 – 2024)
Rod Lewis was more than a colleague — he was a mentor, a friend, and an integral part of Jets Pest Control’s story. With decades of experience in the pest control industry, Rod worked with several respected companies before joining Jets Pest Control. His knowledge, wisdom, and encouragement helped shape both our business and the careers of those he mentored.
Rod was a guiding influence for both Shaun Michels and Jason Forman, offering unwavering support and standing by us as we built Jets Pest Control. His kindness, loyalty, and generosity left an indelible mark, and the lessons he shared will remain with us always.
Rod deeply loved his family, his community, and his many passions in life — from sport to the outdoors. Those who knew him best described him as “a real fair dinkum Aussie bloke,” and to us, he was that and so much more.
We are forever grateful to have known him and honoured to have called him both mentor and friend. His legacy continues to live on through the work we do every day at Jets Pest Control.
